Office For Civil Rights Announces HIPAA Webinars
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office for Civil Rights announced it is partnering with the Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchanged to host a series of webinars on specific aspects of the recently revised HIPAA privacy and security regulations. The 90-minute webinars are designed to address concerns of small health care providers. The following webinars will be from noon to 1:30 p.m.
- June 14 — HITECH Omnibus Overview of the Rule
- June 28 — Drill Down on the New HITECH Privacy Rule
- July 17 — Breach and Enforcement Under the HITECH Omnibus Rule
- July 26 — Business Associates and the HITECH Omnibus Rule
Registration is free and available through WEDI. To access the WEDI website, you must have a profile with a username and password.
